Terms of Service

Effective date: February 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you” or “Customer”) and Radio Roger LLC (“Roger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Florida limited liability company. They govern your access to and use of the Roger website at radioroger.com (the “Site”), the Roger Logger and Roger Monitor hardware devices (the “Devices”), and all related cloud services, APIs, and software (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Roger provides cloud-based tools for two-way radio communications:

  • Roger Logger. A hardware device and cloud service that captures audio from MOTOTRBO and compatible two-way radios, uploads it to the cloud, and provides transcription, translation, search, alerts, and archiving through a web dashboard.
  • Roger Monitor. A hardware device that enables real-time audio playback of radio traffic from a Roger Logger channel over the internet.
  • Roger Robotics Hub. An upcoming integration product that bridges robotic systems and automation platforms with two-way radio networks. This product is not yet available; when released, these Terms will govern its use.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You may also sign in using Google or Microsoft single sign-on. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and current account information.
  • Maintaining the security of your password and authentication credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at team@radioroger.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Roger products are sold as a combination of one-time hardware purchases and recurring monthly service subscriptions. All payments are processed through Stripe.

Pricing

  • Roger Logger: One-time device fee plus a monthly per-channel service subscription. The first three months of service are included with the device purchase.
  • Roger Monitor: One-time device fee plus a monthly service subscription.

Current pricing is displayed on the Site at the time of purchase. We may change pricing at any time, but price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until their next renewal cycle. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect on your account.

Trial period

If your purchase includes a trial period, you will not be charged the recurring service fee until the trial ends. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting us at team@radioroger.com. Upon cancellation:

  • Your service will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
  • Your data will remain accessible for 30 days after your subscription ends, after which it may be deleted.

4. Hardware Purchases and Shipping

Hardware purchases (Devices) are one-time, non-recurring charges. Devices are currently available for pre-order and will ship when available. Estimated shipping timelines are provided at the time of order but are not guaranteed.

  • We ship to addresses in the United States and Canada.
  • Risk of loss and title for Devices pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
  • If a Device arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a replacement.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must:

  • Comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the Federal Communications Act, FCC regulations, and any applicable state or local laws governing radio communications.
  • Only record radio traffic you are authorized to record. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws and regulations governing the interception, recording, and monitoring of communications in your jurisdiction.
  • Not use the Service for illegal surveillance or to intercept communications in violation of federal or state wiretapping laws.
  • Secure your Devices. You are responsible for the physical security and network configuration of your Roger Devices.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are using the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all audio recordings, transcriptions, translations, and other content you upload or generate through the Service (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Data solely to provide the Service to you.

We will not access, use, or share Your Data except as necessary to operate the Service, comply with the law, or as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Site, software, hardware designs, APIs, documentation, and the Roger brand, are owned by Radio Roger LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

“Roger,” “Radio Roger,” “Roger Logger,” and “Roger Monitor” are trademarks of Radio Roger LLC. MOTOTRBO is a trademark of Motorola Solutions, Inc. Roger is not affiliated with or endorsed by Motorola Solutions.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Deepgram (transcription), OpenAI (translation and AI alerts), Slack (optional messaging integration), and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party’s terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that transcriptions will be accurate. Speech-to-text transcription is performed by third-party AI models and may contain errors, especially in noisy radio environments. Transcriptions should not be relied upon as the sole record of communications.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RADIO ROGER LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Radio Roger LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us at team@radioroger.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rated refund of any prepaid subscription fees. If we terminate for cause (such as a violation of these Terms), no refund will be issued.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, by sending an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Roger regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
