Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 16, 2026
Radio Roger LLC (“Roger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at radioroger.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only—not the Roger Logger or Roger Monitor hardware devices.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account registration. Email address, password (hashed; we never store plaintext passwords), and, if you sign in via Google or Microsoft, the profile information those providers share (name, email, profile photo).
- Pre-orders. When you place a pre-order through our Stripe-hosted checkout, Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address, and payment details. We receive your name, email, and shipping address so we can fulfill your order. We never receive or store your full credit card number—Stripe processes and stores payment information on their systems.
- Optional post-purchase form. Organization name and radio model (both optional).
- Slack integration. If you connect Slack in your account settings, we store an OAuth access token and your selected Slack channel so we can post transcriptions on your behalf. We only request the permissions necessary for this feature.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how visitors use the Site and to monitor performance. These tools collect page views, referrer URLs, browser type, device type, country, and core web-vitals metrics. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites.
- Advertising. We may use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the effectiveness of our LinkedIn ad campaigns. The Insight Tag may place a cookie on your browser and collect information such as your IP address, device and browser characteristics, page URL, and referrer URL. LinkedIn may match this data to LinkedIn member profiles. You can opt out of LinkedIn tracking at LinkedIn Guest Controls.
- Session cookies. We set authentication cookies to keep you signed in. These are strictly functional—not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Error monitoring. We use Sentry to detect and diagnose software errors. When an error occurs, Sentry may collect technical context such as the error message, stack trace, browser type, operating system, URL, and a randomly generated session identifier. Sentry does not collect personal information such as names or email addresses, and we do not send it any.
- Infrastructure logs. Our hosting providers (Vercel, Cloudflare, Supabase) automatically log standard request data such as IP addresses, user-agent strings, and timestamps as part of normal infrastructure operations. These logs are retained according to each provider’s own policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the service—account authentication, order fulfillment, email notifications (alerts, password resets), and delivering transcriptions to your dashboard.
- Improve the Site—anonymous analytics help us understand which pages are visited and where performance can be improved. Error monitoring helps us identify and fix software bugs quickly.
- Measure advertising—conversion tracking for our LinkedIn ad campaigns so we know which ads lead to site visits.
- Communicate with you—transactional emails only (account verification, password resets, alert notifications). We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly opt in.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Supabase (authentication and database)—Privacy Policy
- Stripe (payment processing)—Privacy Policy
- Vercel (hosting and analytics)—Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare (API hosting and CDN)—Privacy Policy
- Resend (transactional email delivery)—Privacy Policy
- Deepgram (speech-to-text transcription)—Privacy Policy
- OpenAI (translation and AI-powered alerts)—Privacy Policy
- LinkedIn (advertising conversion tracking)—Privacy Policy
- Slack (optional integration)—Privacy Policy
- Sentry (error monitoring)—Privacy Policy
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With the third-party service providers listed above, solely to operate the Site and fulfill our services to you.
- If required by law, subpoena, or legal process.
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of Radio Roger, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you would be notified of any change in ownership or control of your personal information.
5. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Strictly necessary. Authentication session cookies that keep you signed in. These cannot be disabled without breaking the sign-in experience.
- Advertising. The LinkedIn Insight Tag may set cookies for conversion tracking. You can opt out through LinkedIn’s settings or your browser’s cookie controls.
Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. It relies on hashed, non-identifying request data.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data, including your profile, preferences, alerts, and organization membership. Some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation to do so (for example, pre-order transaction records for tax and accounting purposes).
To request account deletion, email us at team@radioroger.com.
7. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information—though we do not sell your data.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at team@radioroger.com. We will respond within 45 days.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data—including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, row-level database security, and limiting access to personal data to only the systems that need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
